PAOBA MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Pennsylvania Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (PAOBA) is to promote the advancement and investment potential of the North American alpaca.
PAOBA publishes a bi-annual newsletter available to all members. The newsletter includes a calendar of events, a column featuring show results, reports on PAOBA events and meetings, a health topic, and classified section. If you would like a copy of the most recent PAOBA Planet, please email Fay Steving at webmaster@highlandalpaca.com.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all alpaca farms in Pennsylvania. Dues are paid annually on a two tier system. Associate membership is $35 and includes the PAOBA Planet, a listing in the membership directory, and admittance to all meetings. The Farm membership is $125 and includes:
- Voting rights
- Reduced fees to all PAOBA events and activities
- Listing on the PAOBA website with available link to your farm website
- Listing in the membership directory
- PAOBA Planet
- Participation in the PAOBA herdsire and/or sales lists
- Listing in all PAOBA marketing publications or projects
Membership is renewed on an annual basis. New members will have their dues prorated quarterly (for example, if you join in July, you will pay 50% of the membership fee).
