- Submit a minimum of 2 ounces alpaca prime blanket fiber shorn within 380 days of show entry deadline. Place each entry in a clear, unmarked, gallon-size zipper type plastic bag.
- Fiber shall not be carded, combed, washed or otherwise enhanced, but should be handpicked to remove debris and vegetable matter.
- Staple length must be a minimum of 3 inches and all other AOBA show rules regarding length of fiber apply to Spin-off entries.
(See Section 8 of AOBA Show Division Handbook for additional details).
- Complete a “Handcrafter’s Spin-Off Entry Tag (shown below) for each entry and place it in the plastic bag with fiber sample.The Spin-Off Entry Tag can be copied if additional tags are needed.
- Please mail COMPLETED entry form, payment, handcrafter’s spin-off entry tag, 2 oz fleece sample, photo of the alpaca and a copy of ARI Registration Certificate with Buyers Permission to Show form(if applicable to):

- Entry Fee: $25.00 per entry (includes $6.00 AOBA recording fee).
- Entry Returns: $7.00 one time shipping fee.
- Entries must be postmarked by Saturday February 9, 2008.
- Entries are limited to 3 samples per farm/owner/partnership, per breed type, per age division at time of shearing, per color designation.
- Include with EACH 2-ounce fleece sample:
- completed Handcrafters' Spin-Off Entry Tag (inserted INSIDE the bag with the fleece sample)
- a copy of the ARI Registration Certificate (paper clipped to the Fleece Sample Bag) with a Buyer’s Permission to Show Form if applicable, and a 3” x 5” or 4” x 6” photo of the alpaca.
